East Midlands Juniors Finish 4th at the Inter Regionals
Richard Robinson, EMJOS Lead Coach - 2008The East Midlands Junior team finished 4th at the Juniors Inter Regional Championships; one of their best ever finishes. The two day competition hosted by the North East Orienteering Association was held near Richmond and comprised an individual and relay competition. The top results were from Harriet Lawson (DVO) - 7th on W14, Fiona Claxton (NOC) - 2nd on W16, Mairead Rocke (LEI) - 4th on W18, Peter Hodkinson (NOC) - 2nd on M18 and Ben Windsor (LEI) - 3rd on M18. The Womens teams also finished a very respectable 5th and 8th in the relays.
